As an archivist, you are actively contributing to the preservation and transmission of the documentary heritage of the Roman Sites and Museum of Avenches (SMRA). You manage the archives throughout their life cycle, develop research tools and ensure that you provide quality service to users while supporting the implementation of the archive policy.

• Ensure the processing, packaging and preservation of AMR documentation.
• Provides archival management, research tools and records life cycle.
• Provide information/responses to user requests.
• Participate in the design and implementation of the archives management policy under the Archival Act (Larch).

• Master in archaeology or history.
• Minimum experience of 3 years in archiving.
• Mastery of current IT tools and new technologies related to the field.
• English and German, level B2.
• Interest in Roman Antiquity.
• Knowledge of the Larch and its implementing regulations, knowledge of the directives issued by the cantonal archives of Vaud.
• Good knowledge of Latin, an asset.
• Customer orientation.
• Organization and time management.
• Writing experience.
• Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
