A documentary information specialist (50%) at the Department of Culture, Médiathèque Valais, Martigny
Your tasks
- You optimize the management of documentary processing of audiovisual collections in the field of photography You supervise the cataloguing under the responsibility of the group leader, index audio-visual documents and ensure compliance with current standards You develop and update the fund classification plan and the procedures inherent in the evolution of document management
- You prioritize and participate in document scanning You participate in the valorisation of collections and carry out related research You participate in the loan service (fort, replacements)
Your profile
- Bachelor in Information Science or training ID deemed equivalent Experience in the archival field would be an asset Ability to work autonomously, but also in a team, as well as to communicate effectively Intellectual curiosity and good knowledge of the Valais heritage Writing experience, excellent mastery of spelling and syntax French mother tongue, with good knowledge of the second official language
