- Your responsibilities:
- Development, improvement and maintenance of quality control tools with data analysis from laser line sensor (Gocator) and cameras on an aluminium strip production line.

- Development, improvement and maintenance of quality control tools with data analysis from laser line sensor (Gocator) and cameras on an aluminium strip production line.
- Setting up SPC (Statistical Process Control) graphics of the critical parameters of a continuous production line.
Application process
- Monitoring of a batch compliance prediction application Monitoring the performance of ML models Continuous update (drift management) Band flatness reports with a Gocator
- Acquisition of the tape profile via laser line sensor (in IBA or with C# code) Using Profile Data to Measure Planetity Creating Report / Alarms Automatic verification of strip stamping
- Recovery of returned laser intensity (with Gocator) Text Detection (Computer Vision + OCR) Comparison with education
- Measurement of similarity of defects via images
- Comparison of defects via a system of several grayscale images Lot search with similar defects Reclassification of defects Fault detection on the tape
- Using Gocator laser intensity to detect defects
- Web application maintenance (model serving and reporting) How to convince us:
- You have a Bachelor's degree or are in the process of training a Master in Engineering (EPFL, HES-SO or equivalent)
