As part of our Sigma Temporaire department, we are pleased to collaborate with a renowned company in the construction sector based in Valais.

To meet its needs, we are actively searching for a confirmed M/F frame technician:

structural ES technician

Technical skills (heart of the trade)

• Reading and interpreting plans, diagrams and calculation notes
• Knowledge of wood structures (traditional, industrial, laminated)
• Mastery of assembly techniques (teins\-mortases, clutches, metal connectors)
• Tracing, cutting and processing wood
• Use and adjustment of machines and tools (saw, planer, mortiser, power tools)
• Implementation of roofs and wood frames
• Knowledge of building standards and regulations (DTU, safety rules)
• Laying, mounting and lifting of structural elements
• Quality control, stability and conformity verification
• Material strength and load calculations

Additional technical expertise

• Use of CAD/DAO software (e.g. Cadwork, AutoCAD, SEMA)
• Reading technical documents and digital plans
• Film bases and specifications
• Worksite monitoring and coordination with other trades
• Maintenance and maintenance of wood works

Secure and organizational competencies

• Strict application of on-site safety rules
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Organization of the workplace
• Timeliness and procedures
• Height work safely

Relational skills (knowledge)

• Team spirit and collaboration with other stakeholders
• Clear communication with colleagues, construction manager or clients
• Autonomy and responsibility
• Stress management and adaptation to site constraints
• Compliance with instructions and hierarchy

Your profile

• Diploma of ES technician
• Planning, Reading and Planning Skills
• Use of technical software (Cadwork, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Interface between design office and construction site

• Good communication and teamwork
• Adaptability and stress management

Conditions

• Driver's licence cat. B required
• Availability for site interventions
• Good physical condition
