Role overview

Tasks

• As a team leader, you are jointly responsible for the daily skill in our logistics.

You report to the lead of the respective logistics area and work closely with other team leads of the goods intake and exit, the control room and the quality management.

• Your main responsibility lies in the smooth coordination of day-to-day business and in ensuring day-to-day skill so that our delivery promise “ordered today, delivered tomorrow” is met.

• You organize your area independently and ensure an optimal flow of logistics processes with efficient personnel and resource planning.

Deputies are at your side for this challenging task.

• You lead a team of about 40 employees in terms of expertise and personnel and empower your employees to jointly make quality and process optimizations
• You are actively working on the reduction of expenses within the responsible processes and at the relevant interfaces
• Recruitment, independent management of annual meetings, ensuring the flow of information through active communication and (quality) training of employees are some keywords that will be part of your task in the future Requirements
• You are very familiar with the world of logistics and bring profound leadership experience
• In addition to the basic training, further training (e.g.

Professional card, projects and/or processes highly desired

• Experience or interest in process optimization, especially in connection with lean methods
• Enjoyment in an absolutely dynamic environment and constant change are prerequisites to meet the large scope for action for the implementation of own ideas and proposals
• Hands-on mentality and the willingness to support your team at peak times
• Very good knowledge of German, well-versed in dealing with IT systems and a perfect reputation
• Readiness to work in changing shifts (05:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 23:00) as well as Saturday assignments We offer:
