Our rescue service, a key player in the management of pre-hospital emergencies in the canton, carries out more than 4,000 primary interventions each year.

- Ensure effective and safe pre-hospital interventions for patients requiring emergency care.
- Hold a secondary level II certificate or a higher qualification.
- Residing in Switzerland, priority will be given to Jura residents.
Main responsibilities
- The ambulance service is calling for a place for training in March 2027: Responsibilities
- Ensure effective and safe pre-hospital interventions for patients requiring emergency care.
- Carry out emergency care and delegated medico-delegated acts according to current ambulance care protocols and techniques.
- Collaborate with emergency network partners to guarantee optimal care.
- Participate in the assessment, care and transport of patients to appropriate structures.
- Contribute to the maintenance of equipment and the proper functioning of service equipment.
Key requirements
- Hold a secondary level II certificate or a higher qualification.
- Residing in Switzerland, priority will be given to Jura residents.
- Provide certificates and report cards from the last 3 years.
- Have completed a 10-day internship in the current year, at least half of which in a rescue service.
- Have completed the BLS AED course.
- Meet the admission criteria of the MEDI school in Bern Ambulance Care - medi | Zentrum für medizinische Bildung
- Present an extract from the ADMAS register.
- Hold a category B driving license and obtain a category C1 license with code 121 at the latest two weeks before starting training. Advantages
