As a universitary centre for pneumology, comprehensive clinical services are offered to patients with all forms of lung disease and respiratory disorders.
A special focus is on the care of patients in the field of lung transplantation – from clarification and listing to care before and after transplantation to long-term follow-up care and patient: in a highly interdisciplinary and interprofessional environment with bronchiectases (cystic fibrosis and other etiology).
At the same time, our clinic is full of all other areas of pneumology.

Main responsibilities
- Care for outpatients and inpatients from the entire spectrum of pneumology with a focus on lung transplantation
- Care of patients in the evaluation and evaluation of lung transplantation and of patients in the early and long-term aftercare
- Engaged cooperation in the lung transplantation department in close interdisciplinary exchange with pneumology, thoracic surgery, transplantation center and other disciplines involved
- Senior medical co-responsibility in the inpatient and outpatient pneumological care of a universitary tertiary centre including participation in the upper-medical service or background service for all patients with lung diseases
- Commitment to the training and further training of assistant doctors and students
- Cooperation in clinical projects, research projects and quality assurance processes
- Active co-design and further development of the focus on transplantation spneumology Requirements:
- Completed training to become a specialist in pneumology (FMH or internationally recognised equivalent specialist title)
- Clinical experience at the level of the senior physician in the care of pneumonia patients
- Ideally experience in transplantation spneumology, in the care of patients before or after lung transplantation or related area of pneumology (e.g. bronchial ictases, CF)
