Responsibility & Qualifications

Your responsibilities

• Work according to all safety rules.
• Multipurpose station combining operations of grinding, filtration and distillation facilities as well as mechanical maintenance activities, with a balanced distribution between the two fields.
• Integrated into the "correcting & filtering" department, you participate alone or as a team in improving and maintaining our production tools.

Operations

• Ensure the proper functioning of grinding, filtration and distillation facilities to ensure the quality, availability and performance of equipment.
• Prepare support and work cylinders in accordance with production standards.
• Participate in daily operations and contribute to production, quality and safety objectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of facilities and working methods (5S, NOS, Operator Care).

Mechanical maintenance activities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance operations on the sector's equipment. Participate in the revision, commissioning and continuous improvement of the various parts of our machines.
• Coordinate maintenance interventions and ensure reliability and equipment availability.
• Diagnosing faults and implementing the actions necessary to ensure continuity of production

How to convince us

• CFC mechanic (polymechanical or equivalent)
• At least two years of industrial experience
• You are dynamic, able to take initiatives, with a common sense of communication and like to work as a team
• You are very rigorous and have a strong sense of quality, aware that a non-compliant preparation or finish of the cylinders can have a direct impact on the performance and reliability of the production
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• You are available to provide a picket service
• Good understanding of industrial equipment and performance issues (quality, time, costs, KPI)
• Ability to build confidence, fostering team cohesion, engagement and effective collaboration on a daily basis.
• Mastery of French or German, with a good knowledge of the other language (English an asset).

Betriebliche Tätigkeiten

• Sicherstellung des reibungslosen Betriebs der Schleif-, Filter- und Destillationsanlagen, um die Qualität, Verfügbarkeit und Leistungsfähigkeit der Anlagen zu gewährleisten.
• Vorbereitung der Stütz- und Arbeitszyllinder gemäß den Produktionsstandards.
• Mitwirkung an den täglichen betrieblichen Abläufen und Beitrag zur Erreichung der Produktions-, Qualitäts- und Sicherheitsziele.
• Beitrag zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Anlagen und Arbeitsmethodten (5S, NOS, Operator Care).

Mechanische Instandhaltungexceptgaben

• Durchführung vorbeugender und korrektiver Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen an den Anlagen des Bereichs. Mitwirkung bei der Überholung, Inbetriebnahme und kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der verschiedenen Teile unserer Maschinen.
• Koordinierung der Wartungsmaßnahmen und Sicherstellung der Zuverlässigkeit sowie der Verfügbarkeit der Anlagen.
• Fehlerdiagnose und Umsetzung der erforderlichen Maßnahmen zur Gewährleistung der Produktionskontinuität

Wie Sie uns überzeugen

• EFZ als Mechaniker (Polymechaniker oder gleichwertige Qualifikation)
• Mindestens zwei Jahre Berufserfahrung im industrial Umfeld
• Sie sind dynamisch, zeigen Eigeninitiative, verfügen über gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und arbeiten gern im Team
• Sie zeichnen sich durch große Sorgfalt und ein ausgeprägtes Qualitätsbewusstsein aus und sind sich bewusst, dass eine nicht normgerechte Vorbereitung oder Endbearbeitung der Zylinder direkte Auswirkungen auf die Leistung und Zuverlässigkeit der Produktion haben kann
• SAP-Kenntnisse sind von Vorteil
• Sie sind bereit, Pikettdienst zu leisten
• Gutes Verständnis für Industrieanlagen und Leistungsanforderungen (Qualität, Terminée, Kosten, KPIs)
• Fähigkeit, ein vertrauensvolles Klima zu schaffen, das den Teamzusammenhalt, das Engagement und eine effiziente Zusammenarbeit im Arbeitsalltag fördert.
• Beherrschung der französischen oder deutschen Sprache sowie gute Kenntnisse der jeweils anderen Sprache (Englisch von Vorteil).

Location Profile

Novelis的 Sierre is located in the Valais Switzerland employing around 550 people. It mainly focuses on production of aluminium sheet for the automotive market covering the entire process from casting to finishing. The plant also hosts a world-leaving Research & Innovation Center specialized in the development of new automotive sheet alloys surface treatment and joining technologies. In February 2022 together with research institutions and a local energy provider Novelis founded the Net Zero Lab Valais to develop carbon-neutral solutions for aluminum manufacturing. The lab focuses on identifying and implementing innovative solutions to neutralize the carbon footprint of Novelis The Sierre plant supports its community through direct sponsorship of many annual events promoting education sports and culture.
