Role overview
Within the Supply Chain organization of the Huntsman website of Monthey, we are looking for a motivated Logisticsian to join our logistics team and contribute to the smooth functioning of the goods flows within a demanding industrial environment.
In this function, you are actively involved in receiving, handling, storing, preparing and shipping raw materials and finished products. You contribute to the performance of operations while ensuring strict compliance with the company's safety rules, quality requirements and EHS standards.
- Apply and promote Huntsman's EHS standards as well as Zero Harm principles throughout your activities.
- Identify and report situations at risk, and actively contribute to the continued improvement of site security.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality and regulatory requirements related to logistics operations.
- Receive, control and store raw materials, packaging and finished products in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Participate in the labelling, palletization, handling and operation of storage facilities.
- Prepare orders for internal and external customers by carrying out pick-up and shipment preparation operations.
- Participate in the loading and unloading of vehicles in accordance with ADR requirements and rules for securing transport.
- Ensure the management and traceability of physical and computer movements of goods.
