For the Mattertal Tunnel, which will in future ensure the year-round ÖV connection between Täsch and Zermatt, we rely on BIM in the planning. For this we are looking for an initiative personality in Brig/Glisergrund and/or Täsch/Zermatt as head of Mattertal Tunnel (m/f/d). Your field of activity

• You take over the overall project management on the part of the client for the Mattertal Tunnel project from planning to execution to commissioning
• You lead an interdisciplinary team of internal employees and external partner companies and work actively in the management team of the infrastructure department
• You will lead, coordinate and monitor planning, tendering and construction works and be responsible for communication with authorities and external stakeholders
• You ensure the project implementation according to the project management concept of the BVZ/MGB Group and ensure that budget, deadlines and quality are adhered to and take over the contract and supplement management
• You are involved in other railway infrastructure projects mainly in the area of tunnelling (subject to availability)

Your profile

• You have a degree as a civil or electrical engineer at a university / university of applied sciences or a comparable education – ideally supplemented by further training in business administration and project management.
• Proven professional experience in the management of large construction projects, ideally in the field of tunneling and railway construction are a must
• You have a very good technical understanding, in-depth knowledge of the railway infrastructure and a great interest in the mobility of the future.
• You bring a lot of initiative, implementation strength, a networked and strong entrepreneurial thinking and high social skills
• You are a winning person with good communication skills
• As a resilient person with a reliable way of working, you have already proven your leadership and project management experience in a similar industry.
