Arxada in Visp offers an exciting apprenticeship as an electrical installer/EFZ as of 01.08.2027.
As an electrical installer, you are responsible for the creation and maintenance of electrical installations, building automation and communication systems. You mount switch cabinets, program small controls and building automation systems. During your apprenticeship, you will learn to test and commission electrical systems. In maintenance, you repair disturbances and repair equipment.
The training lasts four years. Electrical installers complete their practical training in the teaching company, supplemented by intercompany courses. The vocational school takes about one day per week on average. In the first half of the apprenticeship, a broad foundation of knowledge and skills is laid, with emphasis on manufacturing technology, switching and measurement technology and microcomputer technology. In the second half of training, the focus training takes place in operational fields of activity. In this phase, trainees deepen their knowledge and skills through practical learning on production contracts and projects.
