Role overview

Ensure and further develop IT and digitization solutions, technical procurement, acquisition and analysis capabilities, and specialised news acquisition and operational support services.

Responsible for the consistent further development of the technology portfolio and thus the development of a modern, future-proof IT infrastructure based on the requirements of intelligence activities.

Ensure integral operational support services as well as specialized services for obtaining intelligence-relevant information.

Company and context

  • University degree or equivalent education with FH degree EMBA or sound police career with at least ten years of professional experience in a preferred security-oriented organization.
  • Teamplayer, as a member of the Executive Board jointly responsible for strategic management.
  • Experienced and proven in the strategic and operational management of a complex unit in a dynamic and volatile environment (at least ten years).
  • Proven and broad experience in security policy (at home and abroad).
  • Leadership personality with assertiveness, negotiating skills, visionary thinking and interdisciplinary expertise.
  • Excellent understanding of the political, legal, ethical and technological challenges of an intelligence service.
  • Excellent understanding of business/IT alignment;
  • Along with this, anticipation of intelligence needs regarding technology.
  • Experience and knowledge in intelligence gathering.
  • Experience in managing complex projects with a track record.
