Role overview

Introduction: Join the Resources Management Office in the CMS Collaboration Experimental Physics Department, in the EP-CMS-ORG section and provide a seamless service to the many scientists coming from all over the world. Functions:

Monitor the payment of cost-of-living allowances and subsistence for associated members of personnel and follow up the related budget allocations.

Coordinate several matters related to contributions to the CMS collaboration, including the issuance of invoices for the full yearly budgets and liaison with representatives of Funding Agencies.

Application process

  • Ensure the correct application of CERN rules, regulations and administrative procedures in a variety of situations.
  • Act as a back-up to the supervisor during period of absence.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of of Finance and Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative/financial service in an international environment. Experience:
  • Experience in administrative and financial support professional with strong ability to manage orders, invoices, monitor incoming payments, and ensure compliance with organisational administrative procedures.
  • Strong ability to support large-scale scientific departments, experiments and multidisciplinary groups through efficient coordination and high-quality service delivery.
  • Experience managing processes related to special contributions, events, and operational activities while maintaining accurate information flow.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and collaborating skills to support international and multicultural scientific communities.
