One or one person in charge of human resources (80-100%) with the cantonal police in Sion

Your tasks

• You contribute to the development of the HR strategy of the cantonal police in accordance with the human resources policy defined within the cantonal administration of Valais and the specific needs of the cantonal police You conduct strategic and complex projects related to the development of the Cantonal Police HR Strategy You support the members of the Major State and bring your leadership and coaching skills in human resources management You collaborate in the design and implementation of various personnel policy projects and measures You define the organization of the human resources office and ensure its conduct You ensure and coordinate relations with partners and other departments of the Canton Administration in relation to personnel matters Under the supervision of the Head of Unit, you assume the general direction and coordination of the recruitment and development of the staff of the cantonal police You implement and ensure the management of the rotation and promotion system of the cantonal police You promote relations with partners and other services of the Cantonal Administration You represent the Cantonal Police during HR sessions

Your profile

• HES training, Federal Human Resources Specialist Diploma/Patent or equivalent training with key competencies in the relevant areas Experience confirmed in the management and conduct of staff Good knowledge of how a public administration works Mastery of HR management and office automation tools MS-office
• Confirmed competencies in coaching and mediation Ability to assume a leadership role Meaning of organization, responsibility and communication Spirit of analysis and synthesis Ability to work independently Good editorial skills Timeliness of execution Ability to adapt, availability, discretion and flexibility French or German mother tongue with good knowledge of the second official language
