One or one urban planner (80-90%) with the Territorial Development Service in Sion The overall mission of the Territorial Development Service is to ensure the coordination of human activities with a territorial impact by planning the evolution of the cantonal territory and supporting stakeholders.

Your tasks

• You contribute, according to the different roles of the SDT (piloting, coordination, support), to the development of planning instruments (plans, reports, regulations) federal, cantonal, intercommunal and communal as well as guides, recommendations or basic studies You develop in the framework of procedures for consulting files of notice, from the point of view of legality and timeliness You advise, on the basis of an analysis from them, the communes and their agents (planners, architects, ...) and third parties (owners, companies, ...) in their reflections on planning instruments You guarantee the coherence of projects with territorial impact and the compliance of planning instruments with federal and cantonal laws, as well as with federal sectoral plans and the cantonal management plan You ensure coordination between the various partners (federal offices, communes, agents, state services) in the processing or development of planning instruments

Your profile

• You have a university degree in geography, engineering, architecture or equivalent training You have several years of experience in a private office or administration You have a sense of interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork, as well as autonomy and initiative You are able to think conceptually and analytically You are ready to develop your specific skills You speak French with very good knowledge of the second official language You are resistant to stress and do not be destabilized by the difficult conditions of a constantly changing environment. Good knowledge of planning methods and ITS is an asset
