- Lead large-scale multidisciplinary teams, composed of direct and indirect reports, with considerable influence on the Disease Area’s (DA) overall ambition and strategic, financial and operational performance.

- In collaboration with your team and cross-functional partners, you will make significant contributions to the 2030 Pharma vision as you shape the end-to-end Disease Area Strategies and plans.
Company and context
- In partnership with the Research and Development organizations (REDs, PD), Business Development, Commercial Leadership Teams and Global Medical Affairs (PDMA), you and your team will shape the future portfolio for the DA and will lead early development of solutions (molecules/products) within the Disease Areas.
- You will have global responsibility for multiple molecules.
- You will oversee a team of senior leaders who are accountable for coordinating and providing global, cross-functional leadership for Research & development, technical, manufacturing, and commercial activities.
- Co-leading the Disease Area Team that develops and implements long-term end-to-end Roche strategy in the assigned Disease Areas.
- In partnership with the functions mentioned above, orchestrating the development of strategic deliverables, e.g. pre-TPPs, break-through indication strategies to build a sustainable pipeline of differentiated assets across the disease areas.
- Developing and managing the Disease Area budget to ensure financial targets are met and to optimize resource allocation.
- Contribute to shape the external Disease Area ecosystem, engaging with the world’s most renowned Therapeutic Area Experts, Patients’ Advisory Groups,
- Healthcare industry leaders, Biotech. Who you are:
- Outstanding people leader and developer in a multicultural environment and virtual set-up, with demonstrated ability to lead business and people through high impact change and transformation
- Experience leading large cross-functional organizations, preferably in the domains of drugs research and development, drugs and indications pre-launch and launch, throughout the entire cycle of strategy setting and execution.
