Role overview
Mission The EPFL Valais Wallis campus in Sion currently has 17 laboratories active in the key fields of energy, environment and health.
The campus is in the middle of an expension.
In order to ensure the proper functioning of the buildings of the site and, by extension, the success of our scientific research, we are looking for a versatile technician capable of operating and monitoring our technical installations.

- Main tasks and responsibilities
- To operate and monitor the CVCS technical installations of the various buildings of EPFL Valais Wallis campus (via an MCR and in presentation);
Main responsibilities
- Main tasks and responsibilities
- To operate and monitor the CVCS technical installations of the various buildings of EPFL Valais Wallis campus (via an MCR and in presentation);
- Provide interface with internal users, process their stewardship requests and ensure a good level of service;
- Provide preventive and curative maintenance of campus CVCS facilities;
- Diagnosing faults, proposing solutions and ensuring the rapid return to service of installations (to be flexible for possible emergency response);
- Plan, coordinate and supervise external stakeholders, including requests for estimates, monitoring and receipt of work;
- Carry out routine operation and maintenance work and support internal teams in important work;
- To ensure the administrative management of interventions, to draw up clear and usable intervention reports and to ensure rigorous monitoring through a GMAO;
- Update and ensure compliance of technical files (plans, diagrams, nomenclatures, documentation);
- To be a force for proposals on energy optimisation options and/or CVCS enhancements;
Additional details
- Contribute to internal processes and support management in technical projects, including the development of the Master Plan for Infrastructure.
- Controlling control/automation tools, an asset; Knowledge of a GMAO, an asset;
- Be a bearer of Article 13 ITTO, an asset (possible training).
