Main responsibilities
- Monitoring of authorisations Export control
- Classification of goods in the customs tariff
- Control, inspection and archiving of customs documents (imports/exports)
- Monitoring of customs checks and controls on the exit notes
- Preparation of action and procedure instructions for foreign trade law/customs law
- Internal and external contact for any customs matter including contact with authorities and offices Requirements:
- Successfully completed commercial training (e.g. merchants for wholesale and foreign trade, forwarding or industrial traders or similar) Multi-annual experience in export control
- Extensive knowledge in the Foreign Trade Act
- Basic knowledge of the War Weapons Control Act, US Export Law (ITAR, sir) desirable
- Self-employed and very careful working methods
