The Valais Hospital is looking for the Central Institute of Hospitals Chief Clinical Physician (80-100%) For the Infectious Diseases Department A 12-month fixed-term contract to complete an advanced course in infectious disease and PCI.
Mission: You join a specialized team that provides infection prevention and control (ICP) activities for the Valais Hospital as well as several major partner institutions (HRC and SUVA).

- Your main responsibilities include:
- clinical counselling in infectiology in hospital and outpatient settings,
- You show real interest in your patients, who benefit from your great clinical and scientific curiosity.
Main responsibilities

- clinical counselling in infectiology in hospital and outpatient settings,
- participation in infection prevention and control activities within partner institutions;
- conducting or participating in institutional projects to prevent infections associated with care,
- the development of institutional recommendations and procedures;
- investigation and management of epidemic or infectious outbreaks, in collaboration with relevant partners, including the Cantonal Unit of Transmissible Diseases (UCMT).
- Profile: You are in possession of an FMH of infectious diseases and want to gain experience and autonomy in this new function.
- You already have at least one year of IBD training or public health training.
- You are committed to keeping your knowledge up to date and appreciate sharing your knowledge with your colleagues.
