Nestled in the impressive mountains of the Canton of Uri, at the southern end of Lake Four Forests, the Cantonal Hospital Uri offers an extended basic care for the population of the region. As a manageable acute care hospital, we combine short decision-making paths with a broad range of medical services and close interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation. For the clinic anesthesia and rescue medicine, we are looking for a professionally and humanly convincing leader as of 01.01.2027 or by agreement, who actively shapes the medical care and successfully develops the clinic together with a committed team. The clinic provides anesthesiological care for the operational and interventional departments of the Cantonal Hospital Uri and plays a central role in perioperative medicine. At the same time, she bears the medical responsibility for preclinical emergency and rescue medicine in the canton of Uri. YOUR TASKS

• You carry the professional and personnel overall responsibility for the clinic anesthesia and rescue medicine.
• You will lead and develop the medical team and work closely with those responsible for anesthesia care and emergency services.
• You ensure high-quality, safe and patient-oriented anesthesiological care.
• You remain clinically active and actively participate in the perioperative care of our patients.
• You are actively involved in shaping preclinical emergency and rescue medicine in the Canton of Uri and developing it further.
• You promote the education, further and further training of doctors as well as the professional exchange within the clinic.
• You maintain a close interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation with the operational and medical departments as well as with our external partners.
• You will contribute to strategic and cross-clinical issues and actively contribute your expertise to the further development of the Cantonal Hospital Uri.
• You take responsibility for quality, cost-effectiveness and resource-friendly use within your area of responsibility. Our requirements
• You have an anesthesiology or equivalent recognised qualification recognised in Switzerland. Another specialist title / focus (e.g. intensive care medicine) is an advantage.
• You have proven experience in preclinical emergency and rescue medicine; A corresponding additional qualification is advantageous.
• You have broad clinical experience in anesthesiology and have already successfully assumed leadership responsibility in a senior medical position.
• You master the common procedures of general and regional anesthesia and have a strong interest in perioperative medicine.
• You combine a high level of medical expertise with a good understanding of organizational and business contexts. Further training in business administration is an advantage.
• You lead clearly, appreciatively and bindingly and understand how to promote, involve and win employees for common goals.
• A pronounced interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation is a matter of course for you.
• You are a communicative, solution-oriented and decision-making personality with a high level of social competence and a sense of responsibility.
