Descrizione Projektmanager (m/w/d) 60%, Zurich, unlimited print Print The Rapid Architectural Prototyping Laboratory of the Department of Architecture is a competence centre for model and prototype construction with a clear focus on architectural model construction. For our around 2000 students we provide a wide workshop infrastructure, from traditional techniques to 3d printing, with appropriate consulting and project support. We try to make this process as direct, simple and elegant as possible. We enable our students and researchers to work independently at the workshops of the Raplab through various courses. We link concept, methodology and design to the practice of manufacturing. At the Raplab, the point of rotation and the focus is on the artisanal and creative debate, through which we establish a dialogue with our environment in a targeted manner - about the concrete artisanal work itself, we systematically develop theoretical and technical relationships that always have a connection to a model. craft is understood as a broad concept; includes technical concerns, construction, material, haptics, perception, expression and shape. When communicating skills, we pay particular attention to the fact that the models produced have a balance in relation to all aspects of the process and thus consistently show the design idea. Due to the dynamics arising from the teaching at the department, the Raplab is a working environment that is constantly in development and is dedicated to the support of teaching and training in architectural studies.
