Role overview

The Road Traffic Office is responsible for the authorization of vehicles, drivers, and ships, the periodic inspection of vehicles and ships, the issuance of administrative measures against faulty vehicle drivers, and the preparation and collection of traffic taxes.

We are looking for the Road Traffic Office / Department of Justice, Security, and Health for a Traffic Expert for Chur, starting on 1st September 2026 or by agreement.

Tasks: As an expert for vehicle and driver tests, you will reinforce our technical team.

Key requirements

  • Completed training as an Automobile Mechatronics Technician, Agricultural or Construction Machine Mechanic
  • At least 25 years old
  • Some years of professional experience
  • Responsibility, resilience, and empathy
  • Communicative, decisive, and appreciate direct customer contact
  • Interested in modern traffic topics and willing to further professional training
  • Good manners and a customer-oriented attitude
  • Good German language skills - Italian language skills are an advantage
