In order to strengthen our Main Subscription & Pricing Division, we are looking for a Master's intern for a duration of 6 months from September 2027 in Lausanne. In a dynamic and growing environment, you take part in various actuarial work in coordination with the employees of the pension and personal insurance service. Master's work includes a review of a model for predicting social illness and analysis of an individual accident portfolio. The missions that await you:

• Taking charge of the new database: analyze its structure, available variables and their quality
• Recalibrate the disease onset model: model intensity.
• Improve the estimation of the number of times: methodology to be determined by the form of distribution of dates of appearance
• Improve the estimate of the amount of recoveries: develop a robust statistical method (credibility, Bühlmann-Straub, minimization of prediction error, etc.) to replace the current decision threshold
• Analyze the individual accident portfolio: data ownership and cost-effectiveness analysis Your profile:
• You are in course of academic studies (Master University or High School)
• You have excellent mathematics skills and very good Python programming knowledge. Knowledge of the VBA and SQL languages would also be appreciated.
• Autonomous, you have good management of priorities and timeliness
• You have excellent command of French. Good knowledge of English and German is an asset. We offer you :
