Zurich University Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients.

Tasks

• Coordination and organisation of organ services as well as ensuring the smooth operation of organ allocation, organ removal and transplantation at the University Hospital Zurich
• Planning, organization and support of patients: inside during the evaluation, waiting list and transplantation process
• Responsibility for updating and quality assurance of transplantation-relevant data as well as waiting list management in cooperation with the participating specialist areas
• Coordination and coordination with interdisciplinary teams from medicine, care and other disciplines
• Organisation and follow-up of complex screening processes before transplantation
• Ensuring complete and high-quality documentation as well as cooperation in statistical evaluations, reporting and quality processes
• Counselling and support of patients: in a highly sensitive environment
• Assumption of responsibility in the context of transplantation medical care during shift work

Requirements

• Certified nurse HF/FH
• Completed NDS HF in intensive care, anesthesia care or emergency care (mandatory)
• Several years of professional experience in an acute hospital, preferably in a highly specialized clinical environment related to transplantation medicine
• Experience in transplant medicine or organ allocation is beneficial
• High organisational competence as well as the ability to set priorities and coordinate complex processes under time pressure
• Strong communication skills, resilience, discretion and responsibility
• Very good IT user knowledge, especially in the Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with clinical information and documentation systems is an advantage
• Fluent German and English skills in word and writing are mandatory
• Good knowledge of French is desired
• Knowledge of Italian is an added advantage
• Willingness and flexibility to work in 24/7 shift service are mandatory requirements
