## General information - Start of training/internship: Summer 2026 - Location of basic training: Olten - Location: Muttenz - Language: German ## Your tasks - You identify where tracks and switches need to be repaired or replaced - Before carrying out the work you secure tracks and sections of line which you release once the work is complete - You improve the railway route together with your colleagues - You are physically fit enough to carry out your work under your own power - But you are also quite skilled to operate large track-laying machines and make them "toil" for you - You are extremely reliable and work very precisely ## What do you bring with you - The world of transport excites you - You like being outdoors in all weathers - You are a real team player and a reliable person - You are skilled in manual work and physically fit - You have good visual and hearing abilities and for your further career you have no limitations in color perception - Irregular working hours at night and on weekends do not scare you - You like it calculate and plan - Have you obtained a compulsory school leaving certificate (lower or intermediate level) - Are you in good health - Do you have limited hearing ability, limited color vision or other health problems?
