The Office for Forest and Natural Hazards (OFNH) is the cantonal specialist authority for forests and protection against natural hazards.

The employees of the OFNH work to meet society's needs regarding forests and ensure sustainable forest management.

Responsibilities: Support the specialist for access infrastructure and protective structures in the conception, planning and implementation of construction projects Independent handling of selected project-specific assignments Regional contact person for protective structures and forest access infrastructure cadastres Project-specific support for regional forest engineers in various matters according to personal skills Administrative and general management tasks Requirements: Higher vocational training as a forester, forest engineer or civil engineer, or an equivalent education and training in construction and planning Technical expertise in forest engineering and protective structures Experience in construction and planning, project management and public procurement Knowledge of GIS, GPS and drone deployment Motivated, team-oriented and reliable personality German is the general working language; proficiency in several cantonal languages is an advantage What you can look forward to
