Key requirements
- You have experience leading or mentoring software engineering teams in fast-moving environments
- You actively use AI coding tools daily — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, or similar — and have developed strong opinions about where they create leverage and where human judgment still matters most
- You think deeply about developer productivity, engineering workflows, code review quality, maintainability, and software delivery effectiveness
- You can balance pragmatism and engineering rigor without becoming process-heavy
- You are comfortable introducing new workflows and helping teams adopt them effectively
- You stay current with emerging development paradigms around LLMs, coding agents, autonomous workflows, MCP ecosystems, and AI-native engineering practices
- You are still technically strong enough to engage credibly with engineers and understand the realities of day-to-day software development

- Experience with backend systems, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, developer platforms, LLM applications, agent frameworks, or internal engineering tooling is a strong plus.
