Main responsibilities
- As Senior .NET API Developer , your main responsibilities will involve:
- Design, build and maintain .NET Core RESTful APIs that expose REDS capabilities to underwriting, modelling and reporting consumers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable, secure and cloud-native services on Azure.
- Integrate .NET services with Databricks, Azure SQL, PostGIS, message queues and internal Zurich platforms.
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, modelers, data engineers and business stakeholders in an agile delivery model.
- Contribute to the modernization of legacy components and migration to the cloud native target architecture. Your Skills and Experience
- As Senior .NET API Developer , your skills and experience will ideally include :
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally in international environments and in financial services, banking or insurance.

- Your Skills and Experience As Senior .NET API Developer , your skills and experience will ideally include :
- Demonstrated experience building applications from the ground up, not only maintaining existing systems.
- Strong experience with .NET (latest LTS, .NET 8 preferred).
- Extensive experience developing .NET Core RESTful APIs in production.
- Solid experience with Entity Framework and the Repository / Unit of Work patterns.

- Hands-on experience developing Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions and other Azure PaaS services.
