Role overview

Description The Civil Engineering Department is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of canton roads, water engineering, and slow traffic in Graubünden.

Additionally, we are responsible for the operational maintenance of national roads within the canton's territory.

The canton's road infrastructure includes over 1,450 engineering structures, such as bridges at altitudes up to 90 meters and tunnels up to 3 kilometers in length.
