Role overview

We are an innovative leader in the development of ventilators, automated pipetting, and storage of samples, as well as the development of process sensors. The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This allows us to remain agile, independent, and efficient. You can make this happen:</p>

<ul> <li>Creation of verification and validation plans according to the development process</li> <li>Planning, execution, and documentation of integration and system tests to check Hamilton Liquid Handling instruments, modules, and consumables according to product specifications</li> <li>Definition of test strategies</li> <li>Setup and maintenance of test setups</li> <li>Planning, execution, and documentation of first-article inspections in the Consumables area</li> <li>Planning, execution, and documentation of risk analyses</li> <li>Analysis and evaluation of test data</li> <li>Operation of laboratory automation systems and Hamilton Liquid Handling robots</li> <li>Creation of test methods using various versions of Hamilton Basic Software</li> </ul>

<ul> <li>A completed Bachelor's degree in the field of natural sciences or biotechnology or a comparable education as a laboratory technician</li> <li>Experience in working with laboratory automation, preferably with pipetting robots</li> <li>Knowledge of laboratory processes as well as practical experience in the laboratory</li> <li>Good technical understanding</li> <li>Exact, structured, and independent working method</li> <li>Very good German language skills in writing and speaking as well as good English language skills</li> </ul>
