- Strategize and deliver new / enhanced products for all FT channels (Individual and Group products) according to company’s direction, market needs and regulatory requirements within the timeline set
- Recommend Product Strategy, prepare and identify potential product proposals through competitor product and database analyses, ground engagements, focus groups by proper presentation and preparation of product materials and discussions with distribution team
- Design FT new products or enhancements with point of differentiation to create competitive edge
- Manage the product development cycle – engagement with key stakeholders in the product development process such as pricing, underwriting, distribution, legal, compliance for the required product approvals in line with company and regulatory guidelines, with proper preparation and documentation of approval paper and meeting minutes on approvals
- Lead and Manage end-to-end product development process in accordance to company’s SOP and requirements.
- Manage various department teams on all matters including providing solutions, relating to the development of new products and product enhancements.
- Lead the team in preparing all product collaterals: ie certificates, product disclosure sheets, marketing illustrations etc in line with company and regulatory requirements. All materials to be reviewed and sign off accordingly within the specified timeline.
- Market research and competitiveness study for all new products / enhancements.
- Review and challenge proposition development in respect of risk, guarantees, suitability and overall business case or key areas in the proposition framework.
- Lead the team in managing/ supporting system requirements and system issues. Review test script and ensure all UATs are robust and properly signed off within the set timeline.
