Job offers PROJECT MANAGER Urgent Position for a challenging construction in Southwest Africa: project of 20.000 sqm Place of work: Southwest Africa Starting date: immediate JOB BREF We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.

Priority: a challenging construction in Southwest Africa.

You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Main responsibilities

  • In this role, responsibilities are more high-level, involving setting the overall vision, developing a strategic plan, and identifying and prioritizing requirements.
  • On a daily basis, PM plans resources, handles finances and organizes the business documents related to the project.
  • PM also works directly with higher management to streamline the entire project management process to ensure the project has a set direction for success and it meets this definition of success at the completion period.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects and all stakeholders to define details of the project.
  • Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing, and summarizing relevant information.
