- Design and implementation of software pipelines for the acquisition, processing, and integration of multimodal data (e.g., interaction logs, audio/video streams, inertial and contextual inputs) within the system.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or a related field
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript frameworks such as React or similar), with experience in software development, system design, API development and integration, and CI/CD pipelines.
Main responsibilities

- Design and implementation of software pipelines for the acquisition, processing, and integration of multimodal data (e.g., interaction logs, audio/video streams, inertial and contextual inputs) within the system.
- Integration and configuration of existing data-driven components and APIs to support system adaptation.
Key requirements
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or a related field
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript frameworks such as React or similar), with experience in software development, system design, API development and integration, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with ML systems, with the ability to implement, use and integrate existing models within applications.
- Interest in working with real-world data and complex, interdisciplinary systems in applied contexts (e.g., education, cultural or therapeutic environments).
- Interest or experience in user interface design and user experience (UX) for interactive systems is considered a plus.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Application process
- This includes the design of system components and interfaces connecting backend services with user-facing applications.
- Design and implementation of adaptive decision mechanisms based on system logic and the use of outputs from integrated third-party components.
- Development of methods for real-time and post-hoc evaluation of user engagement, behavior, and responses during the experience.
- Contribution to dataset construction, data collection, and experimental validation in real-world environments.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary partners to translate user needs and co-designed experiences into computational models.
- Scientific dissemination through publications in international conferences and journals.
- Contribution to teaching activities as a teaching assistant. Requirements
