Role overview

The Road Construction Department is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of cantonal roads, water management, and slow traffic in Graubünden.

Additionally, we are in charge of the operational maintenance of national roads within the canton.

The canton's road infrastructure includes over 1,450 works of art, such as bridges with heights up to 90 meters and tunnels up to 3 kilometers in length.
