Senior physician (m/f/d) 80-100%, Adult Psychiatry Outpatient, Liestal Psychiatry Baselland Ambulatory Liestal, focus on geriatric psychiatry

• Your tasks
• Specialist responsibility for diagnosis and treatment in a general social psychiatric outpatient setting and with a focus on geriatric psychiatry
• Holistic assessment of psychiatric, somatic and psychosocial issues
• Planning, control and evaluation of individual Treatment concepts
• Accompanying older people with the aim of maintaining independence and quality of life for as long as possible
• Close cooperation with relatives, family doctors, specialists, institutions and authorities
• Active participation and further development of modern geriatric psychiatric treatment offers
• Promoting interprofessional cooperation and high quality of treatment
• Commitment to the further training of junior doctors, assistant psychologists and medical students at the University of Basel
• Your profile
• Specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or for short before graduation
• Major title in geriatric psychiatry and geriatric psychotherapy or interest in acquiring this
• Enjoyment of outpatient care for older people and resource-oriented treatment
• Interest in networked collaboration with internal and external partners
• Independent, responsible and structured way of working
• High social skills and appreciative interaction with patients and relatives
• Leadership experience or interest in professional development and participation
• Recognized MEBEKO recognition
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least level C1) Start of the position
• The position is effective as of January 1st. September 2026 or by appointment.
