- and activities The candidate will have the opportunity to take part in the research, mandate and service activities of the Climate Change and Territory Competence Center (CCCT), a reference point at the southern Alpine level in the field of applied geomorphology, where he will have the opportunity to develop and perfect the following skills:
- Cartography, monitoring and modeling of slope movements in the Alpine environment
Main responsibilities
- and activities The candidate will have the opportunity to take part in the research, mandate and service activities of the Climate Change and Territory Competence Center (CCCT), a reference point at the southern Alpine level in the field of applied geomorphology, where he will have the opportunity to develop and perfect the following skills:
- Cartography, monitoring and modeling of slope movements in the Alpine environment
- Assessment of natural hazards and risks of geomorphological origin
- Remote sensing monitoring, in particular through the autonomous acquisition of drone images and the processing and analysis of aerial and satellite images (especially satellite radar interferometry) Requirements We are looking for a person with a solid academic background, motivated to work in an applied research and development context. Required:
- Master's degree in geosciences or related fields
- Knowledge in applied geomorphology/geology, with particular emphasis on the alpine environment
- Experience in acquiring monitoring data in the field and from remote sensing
- Knowledge and experience with Territorial Information Systems (GIS)
- Experience with the main remote sensing data processing software (aerial and satellite)
- Ability to move in impervious and high mountain terrain
