Role overview

  • develop policies for the acquisition and development of documentary resources in collaboration with the Library Commission

Main responsibilities

  • develop policies for the acquisition and development of documentary resources in collaboration with the Library Commission
  • catalogue, subject and classify library books borrow library documents form the use of the library
  • assist students and teachers in the use of library resources
  • respond to requests for information and consultation with appropriate materials
  • promote animation programs for reading and cultural activities
  • participate in the programming of activities connected with the implementation of the curriculum

Key requirements

  • SUP specialist in information and documentation, librarian/ cantonal diploma or BBS, or equivalent title, subject to training for its obtainment or already enrolled in training
