Role overview

**Job Title:** Coordinator for Command and Information Systems

- Coordinate the use of all command and information systems of the Special Forces Command, oversee the overall situation, and ensure the maintenance (updates, maintenance work) and availability of the systems. - Be responsible for concepts and development in the field of command and information systems of the Special Forces Command as well as advancing digitalization. - Conduct projects within the department and represent the operational needs and interests of the Special Forces Command in expert committees and project groups. - Teach or support professional and militia personnel of the Special Forces Command in technical courses and contribute to training for third parties (civil authorities). - Ensure the representation of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Command Support.

- Completed higher vocational education (HF) in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or completed vocational training as a computer scientist or telecommunications technician EFZ with adequate further education and several years of relevant professional experience. - High affinity for technology and digital change. - Officer or non-commissioned officer of the Swiss Army with willingness to be re-mobilized in a militia capacity for the Special Forces Command; military service fitness and medical fitness must be present (will be checked within the recruitment process). - Knowledge of various radio, command and information systems of the Swiss Army is an advantage. - Good spoken and written knowledge of a second official language; good English skills are also required due to international cooperation (minimal level B2 / First Certificate).
