Legal and Compliance Officer

Full description of the positionELP SA is a financial service company based in Chiasso, an integral part of the ELP group. For our headquarters in Chiasso (Switzerland), we are looking for a talented and experienced Legal & Compliance Officer. The ideal resource will become part of a dynamic and stimulating environment, ensuring that team work fully respects applicable laws, regulations and best practices. Liability: The resource, reporting to the management, will deal with legal issues and compliance with a specific focus on the world of payments, investments and digital marketing. Specifically: AML & KYC: analysis, review and implementation of policies and senior procedures manuals Product and Marketing Compliance: Revision and validate editorial content, marketing campaigns, landing pages and promotional materials dedicated to financial and banking products, ensuring total compliance with the MiFID and ESMA rules Privacy & GDPR: oversee the management of personal data related to the digital marketing and lead generation activities, interfaced directly with the Group DPO Contratualistics: drafting, negotiating and manufacturer Regulatory Watch: constantly monitor regulatory developments in the financial sector, translating legal requirements into operational and clear guidelines for marketing and sales teams.

• Requirements:The ideal candidate owns a strong technical background combined with a strong strategic vision of the business:Formation: law degree or economy. A specialization in the right of financial markets or commercial law will constitute a plus.Experience: at least 5 years of experience in similar roles (Compliance / Legal) accrued within financial institutions, banks, consulting networks, insurance intermediaries or law firms specialized in the finance/fintech sector. Technical expertise: deep knowledge of MIFid and ESMA regulations, the promotion of financial products and GDPR. Business approach: strong business orientation and problem-solving attitude.
