Role overview

As a key resource of the Learning & Development team, the <i>Learning & Development Specialist</i> will manage end-to-end the apprentices and interns programmes at EFG, ensuring a best-in-class onboarding and development experience, and provide support and coordinate selected global learning initiatives.

The resource will interact with all HR functional areas and expected to become a reference person within the organization on the assigned activities.

Learning & Development Program Delivery (Apprentices & Interns)

Main responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve apprentices and interns programmes, ensuring alignment with EFG’s standards and local requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process for apprentices in Switzerland and interns globally, partnering with line managers and HR Business Partners/local HR.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and training sessions to build readiness and engagement for apprentices.
  • Prepare reports and feedback surveys to measure programme effectiveness; analyse insights to assess impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical support for training-related topics, ensuring effective use of the company’s learning tools and systems.
  • Coordinate selected global learning initiatives, supporting design, rollout, communications, and logistics in partnership with the L&D team.

Key requirements

  • University degree, preferably in human resources, organizational development, economics, or a related field
  • 3+ of relevant experience in early career talent acquisition or development within structured HR departments of international companies
  • Demonstrated interest in learning technologies; experience with learning design tools (e.g. Articulate) preferred
  • Strong commitment to people development and delivering outstanding customer service
  • International mindset and experience working in multicultural environments
  • Proactive, positive attitude with energy and intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders across functions and countries
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively structure key messages
  • Exceptional organizational skills; able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Fluency in English, French, and Italian
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
