Role overview

The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This allows us to remain agile, independent, and efficient. You can make this happen:</p>
<ul> <li>Coordinate multiple overarching projects in the operational and productive environment to ensure the achievement of strategic overall goals</li> <li>Independent planning and leadership of extensive Lean projects in production and logistics</li> <li>Active risk and escalation management in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Proactive project control and transparent reporting to ensure project goals in terms of quality, costs, resources, documentation, and timeliness</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements, standards, and guidelines, as well as protection of intellectual property</li> <li>Active accompaniment and support of change processes within the organization</li> </ul>
<ul> <li>Completed technical education, engineer or comparable qualifications/experience</li> <li>LEAN training (or Lean Six Sigma) or verifiable professional experience</li> <li>Safe handling of project management methods and tools (classic, agile, hybrid)</li> <li>Very good analytical and conceptual skills, strong structuring and prioritization skills</li> <li>Affinity for process automation, digitalization, and AI in production</li> <li>Excellent communication and moderation skills (German and English), resilient, assertive, and decision-capable</li> <li>Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking, at least C1</li> </ul>
