Medacta International is looking for a Measuring Instruments Responsible for Quality Control.

Returning to Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Manage, maintain and calibrate measuring instruments according to targets shared with Quality Control Manager, current procedures, best practices and industry standards;
• Coordinate and supervise the CQ staff involved in the management, maintenance and calibration of measuring instruments;
• Prepare and maintain updated management, maintenance and calibration procedures for measuring instruments;
• Propose Quality Control Manager process improvements related to the management, maintenance and calibration of the tools by involving the staff involved;
• Ensure that users have compliant measuring instruments and calibration systems at their disposal;
• Ensure the order and cleaning of the department;
• Ensure compliance with business operating procedures;
• Ensure compliance with the corporate regulation;
• Perform formations to your CQ team on the management, maintenance and calibration of measuring instruments;
• Perform training to users on the use of measuring instruments;
• Other activities related to function and according to business needs.

Hard Skills

• Mechanical/mechatronic expert or technical or scientific degree;
• English language knowledge with minimum A2 level;
• Good knowledge of mechanical technical design;
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package;
• Pluriennale experience, 2+ years, accrued use of the main measuring instruments (course gauge, centesimal and vintage altimeter, micrometer for interior and exterior, profile projector, wrinkle meter, TF, TL, P/NP control blades, coordinate measuring machines, optical measuring spots);
• Multiannual experience, 1+ years, matured in the visual quality control of mechanical parts;
• Knowledge of the fundamental principles of industrial metrology.
