Where computer science meets electronics and operational tasks in aviation. The Locarno Airport Command offers you an exceptionally varied and dynamic professional challenge. On the one hand, you are the ICT contact for civilian personnel, on the other hand, you work as an electronics engineer on the PC 7 simulator with military customers and take care of the management of flight effects to ensure the operational readiness of pilots, loadmasters and paratroopers. You can make this contribution

• Responsible for managing the IT resources (hardware/software) of the Locarno Aerodrome Command (Flpl Kdo Locarno)

• Technical support in the IT sector and technical advice to employees

• Update intra- and Internet content and manage the Flpl Kdo Locarno SharePoint platform

• Responsible for the flight effects of the Flpl Kdo Locarno, ensuring the operational readiness of pilots, loadmasters and paratroopers as well as managing the camps

• Perform the deputy of the responsible technician of the PC-7 simulator in relation to commissioning, maintenance and repairs

This makes you unique

• electronics technician or equivalent training in the field of electrical / electronics; 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in aviation

• University of applied sciences degree or equivalent further education in electrical engineering or computer science is advantageous

• Excellent IT skills required to manage Flpl Kdo Locarno’s SharePoint and maintain the content of intra- and web pages

• An active militia cadre background is beneficial

• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language
