Role overview

You can make a difference by coordinating the use of all leadership and information systems of the Special Forces Command, overseeing the overall view, and ensuring the maintenance (updates, maintenance work) and availability of the systems.

You are responsible for concepts and development in the field of leadership and information systems of the Special Forces Command, as well as advancing digitalization. You will perform projects within the department, represent the operational needs and interests of the Special Forces Command in expert committees and project groups, and teach or support professional and militia personnel of the Special Forces Command with service courses. You will also contribute to the training of third parties (civil authorities) and ensure the deputy chief of staff's representation of command support.

* Completed higher technical school (HF) with a focus on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or completed vocational training as an IT specialist or telecommunications specialist EFZ with adequate further education and several years of relevant work experience * High affinity for technology and digital change * Officer or non-commissioned officer of the Swiss Army with willingness to be re-mobilized in a militia capacity at the Special Forces Command; military service suitability and medical suitability must be given (checked within the framework of the recruitment process) * Knowledge of various radio, command, and information systems of the Swiss Army is an advantage * Good spoken and written knowledge of a second official language; good English skills are also required due to international cooperation (at least B2 / First Certificate level)
