As Product Manager C2, you are actively involved in the strategic development of our Command & Control products in the area of Ground Based Air Defence. At the interface between customer, market and technology, you will develop future-oriented product strategies and roadmaps, contributing your ideas from initial conception to successful implementation. Your tasks in detail:

• Strategic development of defined Command & Control products and product families in the area of Ground Based Air Defence
• Development and implementation of product strategies, product roadmaps and business cases with focus on C2 based on customer requirements, market trends and technological developments
• Conducting market, competition and technology assessments and collecting, evaluating and prioritizing customer requirements
• Derivation of innovation and product improvement measures
• Establishment and moderation of user groups as well as establishment of roadmap participation and feature voting processes with customers and users
• Establishment and further development of software and license business models including suitable pricing approaches for future C2 products and functions
• Co-creation of the ideaa-to-product process from the first product idea to the market launch as well as accompanying product validations at the customer
• Support for business development, bid management and sales in tenders, campaigns, customer presentations and the positioning of our products
• Close cooperation with Systems Engineering and software development in architectural decisions, concept reviews, product increments and releases
• Implementation of product governance activities and gate reviews as well as creation of management decision templates and support of lifecycle management WHAT YOU SHOULD BUILD
• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable discipline
• Several years of professional experience in product management, systems engineering, command & control, software development or a comparable technology-oriented environment
• Experience in the development of product strategies, roadmaps and business cases as well as in dealing with complex technical products
• Knowledge of military command and information systems as well as of sensor, communication, command and air defense architectures
• Knowledge of agile product management and development methods as well as experience with software and technology-driven products desirable
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Fusion, Situational Awareness or Automation
• Strong technical understanding combined with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking as well as high customer and market orientation
• Analytical, structured and independent working methods as well as the ability to convey complex technical and organizational relationships in an understandable way
• Communication and moderation strength, initiative as well as a secure attitude towards customers, management and various stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of German and English in words and writing as well as team spirit, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for innovative technologies and modern C2 solutions WHAT WE ARE TO YOU
