As head of the department, you assume responsibility for a versatile bed station at the Clinic for Cardiology with 26 bed spaces at the University Hospital Zurich. Here you can expect a challenging and varied spectrum of patients – from complex cardiological diseases and acute clinical pictures to patients with advanced heart failure and LVAD systems.The Clinic of Cardiology is a nationally and internationally leading centre for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The entire spectrum of modern cardiology is represented – including interventional cardiology, structural cardiac interventions, rhythmology. >You expect a international and multicultural team in which different perspectives, experiences and competencies come together. The University Hospital Zurich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients. Tasks: • You lead and empower a dedicated team of around 30 nurses and ensure high-quality care • You will continue to develop processes in the shared governance team and maintain close cooperation with the clinic to continuously improve patient care. • Through your proactive and cooperative nature, you also promote interface collaboration to ensure smooth processes • You bring a diploma as a nurse HF/FH, experience in the acute field and several years of management experience; Leadership training at MAS level is beneficial • You convince with organizational talent, enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement • You identify with the values of the USZ and live a leadership culture characterized by respect, trust, appreciation and commitment.
