Role overview

Class and annual salary (including 13th month) - 1 41'834.-- / 64'005.-- Hotel service duties, cleaning: - carries out cleaning and disinfection (equipment and buildings) according to the provisions and the program set up by the managers - uses the cleaning products in accordance with the service provisions - uses the equipment and work machines, taking care of maintenance and promptly reporting any need for repairs - respects the regulations for the devices personal protection equipment (PPE) and guarantees safety at work - respects institutional rules with regard to the users' personal belongings - collaborates with the healthcare staff and transmits, within the limits of their knowledge and skills, information relating to their work and the behavior of the users, without interfering in the users' therapeutic plan - if necessary, provides support to the other groups of the hotel service and collaborates with the catering service, hotel service, laundry, tailoring: - manages dirty linen in the laundry according to the provisions and work instructions - treats the clean linen according to the provisions and work instructions and prepares it for distribution, within Casvegno and for external customers - carries out the labeling of company and personal linen and work clothes - follows the users in their daily activity in the laundry, in collaboration with the Inclusive Professional Areas (API) - uses the equipment and work machines, taking care of maintenance and promptly reporting any need for repairs - complies with the rules for personal protective equipment (PPE) and guarantees safety at work - carries out the cleaning and disinfections (equipment and buildings) of the laundry according to the provisions and the program set up by the managers - if necessary, helps in cleaning the Casvegno buildings and collaborates with the Catering Service catering service: - carries out the cleaning and disinfections (equipment and buildings) according to the provisions and work plans set up by the managers - carries out the daily washing of the dishes - carries out the preparation of the vegetables for the meals (cutting and cleaning) and collaborates with the cooks in preparation of meals - collaborates in the distribution of meals: at the conveyor belt and/or at the counter, prepares breakfasts independently and processes food requests for the departments and housing units - if necessary, collaborates with the Hotel Service - uses the equipment and work machines, taking care of maintenance and promptly reporting any need for repairs and uses cleaning products in accordance with the service provisions - complies with the standards for personal protective equipment (PPE) and guarantees safety at work • Requirements - federal certificate of ability (AFC) home economics employee or operator for ordinary and maintenance cleaning is a preferential qualification - proven experience in the hotel and/or restaurant sector is a preferential qualification - availability to work in shifts (including weekends and holidays) - good command of the Italian language (spoken and written) - flexibility, organizational and relational skills - aptitude for team work - availability to work in contact with people in the socio-psychiatric field - knowledge of the Ticino area Special observations - depending on the necessary, the candidates may be contacted for possible part-time/full-time hiring.
