Tasks

• to monitor, through video and alarm systems, traffic on motorway and semi-road routes, in order to ensure an adequate intervention to the situations

• to welcome the requests of the user, to assess the situation and to alert the patrols or the public or private rescue agency, in order to ensure an action adapted to the needs

• to support, by implementing the necessary technical measures, the operational patrols involved on the highway or semi-road routes of competence

• provide the required support to operational personnel on the ground either technical or police

• the management and organization of special transport

• to take additional tasks if necessary

• to provide a constant and continuous personal updating, ensuring a consolidation of automation in urgent procedures

• to satisfy the needs of road users in a celery and exhaustive way (SOS columns, telephone calls for road problems, etc.)

Requirements

• Swiss citizenship

• possession of a federal capacity certificate (Federal AFC); possession of an AFC in computer science or technology is a preferential title

• to be in possession of the license to conduct cat. B

• good knowledge of Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• excellent communication skills with internal and external users

• ability to work independently and organization

• attitude to group work

• professional experience

• good general state of health, in particular the absence of pathologies that impair the regular conduct of work for competition function, physical constitution that allows shiftwork on 24 hours

• availability to work on shifts, flexible hours and additional hours or packages

• good conduct: no precedent or behavior incompatible with the competition function

• tattoos are allowed that do not express discriminatory or offensive messages provided that they are not on neck, neck, skull, face and hands at the time of application

• excellent knowledge of Italian (conversation and editing) and good spoken and written knowledge of a second official language, preferably German

Special remarks

• service office: Camorino

• obligation to follow the ISP training for ASP (Public Security Assistant) at the CFP in Giubiasco and to achieve its certifications

• the intake will initially take place in the form of the assignment (art. 15 GROSS) and will be transformed into appointment at the time of the achievement of the relative certifications

• candidates participating in the competition authorize the cantonal police to process all the data necessary for the safety verification of good conduct

• employees who leave the body in their own will in the three years following recruitment may be required to reimburse the costs of education

Application conditions

• in addition to the documents to be submitted at the time of the online application (letter of presentation and motivation, curriculum vitae, diplomas, certificates and certificates of work), in a second moment may be required additional documentation (judicial casellario with relative self-certification and self-certification on the state of health)

Conditions of use

• appointment or assignment: these are those provided for by the Law on the order of employees of the State and of teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the relevant Regulation. Any amendment of the law concerning salary and organization remains explicitly reserved

• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment ratio), flexible or according to service requirements
