Main responsibilities

  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Build a thorough understanding of the activities within your remit and ensure that all necessary activities and actions are organised and undertaken in a timely, diligent and accurate manner.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Assess the adequacy and accuracy of due diligence (CDD/KYC) documentation and ensure compliance with the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) requirements.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Identify, document and escalate deficiencies, risks, or compliance concerns.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Ensure the records are accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained in accordance with internal policies and local regulations. </p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Assist in the development and enhancement of the review methodologies, procedures, and reporting standards.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Process CDD/KYC checks on new leads/prospects as required, input and update of data in respect of such leads/prospects for both reporting and onboarding purposes.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Assist with the update and processing of onboarding materials in liaison with the relevant client administration team.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and industry practices affecting trust and company business in Jersey.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Contribute to achievement of the Division's generic objectives.</p>

Key requirements

  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">A good academic background, to include GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics at Grade C (level 4) or above.<span> </span>Desire to study towards a relevant professional qualification.<span> </span>Willingness to learn the local finance industry, legislation and regulatory requirements in the environment in which we operate.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">At least 1 years’ administration experience.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.<span> </span>Good organisation and interpersonal skills.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Possess a strong commitment to client service excellence.<span> </span>Ability to work independently, take responsibility and be proactive.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Ability to multi-task and deliver within agreed timeframes, whilst remaining calm under pressure. </p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Good use of a range of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).<span> </span>Knowledge of Navision would be desirable.</p>
  • <p class="Bulletlist" style="margin-left:0cm;">Support is provided for relevant professional qualifications including Corporate Governance Institute certificates and diploma.</p>
