<p><strong>Your key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>As Executive Chef, you hold overall responsibility for the culinary direction of Badrutt’s Palace Hotel across all internal and external restaurants, banquets and in-room dining.</p></li><li><p>You further develop and implement seasonal menus and culinary concepts, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s positioning, guest expectations and current gastronomic trends.</p></li><li><p>A strong sense of creativity and a genuine passion for refined cuisine define your approach, supported by a solid understanding of international and regional gastronomic trends, as well as extensive experience in classic French and Italian cuisine and the execution of large-scale banquet events.</p></li><li><p>You drive food and culinary promotions, as well as the development of pop-up food concepts.</p></li><li><p>In collaboration with the hotel’s renowned celebrity chef partners, including Nobu Matsuhisa and Jason Atherton, you coordinate joint culinary activities and special initiatives.</p></li><li><p>You are responsible for budget planning, cost control and revenue management within the culinary department.</p></li><li><p>Purchasing, food administration and the management of supplier relationships fall within your area of responsibility.</p></li><li><p>Compliance with all hygiene and safety standards in line with HACCP guidelines, together with the continuous development of internal processes, remains a core responsibility of the role.</p></li><li><p>You work closely with colleagues in Service, Events and Purchasing, with a clear focus on quality and operational coherence.</p></li></ul><p><br><strong>What you bring to the job</strong></p><ul><li><p>You bring several years of experience as Executive Chef within luxury hospitality or high-end gastronomy.</p></li><li><p>You have a proven track record in successfully leading complex and demanding culinary operations.</p></li><li><p>A strong sense of creativity and a genuine passion for refined cuisine define your approach, supported by a solid understanding of international and regional gastronomic trends.</p></li><li><p>You demonstrate strong leadership qualities, team orientation and clear, confident communication.</p></li><li><p>Sound commercial awareness, including experience in budgeting and cost control, forms part of your professional background.</p></li><li><p>A high quality mindset, hands-on approach and a natural sense of hospitality are central to your way of working.</p></li><li><p>Experience with sustainable and environmentally conscious kitchen practices is an advantage.</p></li><li><p>You converse fluently in English; additional languages, particularly Italian, are considered an asset.</p></li><li><p><strong>Please note: You must be a Swiss or EU national to apply for this position.
